OklahomaCats Dominique - dob: 08/01/2005
As many of you know, we are supporters of community theater and we have been fortunate to be VERY involved this past year (I was cast in four musicals). The flip side is that our rehearsal schedules didn't leave a lot of time for the cat show circuit. We have a full schedule of shows planned for the remainder of the 2006-2007 season and plan to have Domino join his brother, Timotie, at some of them.
CFA Lone Star Cat Club (October 7-8, 2006)
- 2nd Best Long Hair Premier in two finals
CFA Oklahoma City Cat Club (November 25-26, 2006)
- Best Premier
- 2nd Best Premier in two finals
- Best Long Hair Premier in three finals
UPDATE! Domino secured his grand title in two shows! It took him some time to decide he didn't mind the show scene. We're glad we kept him out there!
CH OklahomaCats Natasha - dob: 10/06/2004
Natasha is our Diva! She attended her first show May 2005 and loved all the attention she got! We plan to take her on the road as an adult this season.
April 30 - May 1, 2005, 12 rings, competing against three other NFC kittens
- TICA South Central Region 3rd Best Kitten
- TICA South Central Region 9th Best Kitten
- TICA South Central Region 4th Best Kitten
- TICA South Central Region 5th Best Longhair Kitten
UPDATE! While Natasha went on to secure her Champion title, nature had other plans for her. After repeatedly cycling, we decided to go ahead and let Natasha start her family. She blessed us with beautiful kittens last Spring. Natasha's show life is currently on hold.
CH OklahomaCats Neenja - dob: 07/22/2003
Neenja recieved her winners ribbons at her first cat show with CFA in OKC, November 2004
Neenja is definately her mother's daughter and keeps Norne company when she isn't busy with her kittens.
CH Hattkatts Norne of OklahomaCats - dob: 06/21/2002
Norne recieved her winners ribbons at her first cat show with CFA in OKC, November 2003
Even though Norne is a wonderful cat at home, she is not a fan of the show ring and prefers to stay at home most of the time. She does join us occassionally, though. So, say "hi" to her when you see her on the road. As long as you aren't judging her, she loves you!
CH OklahomaCats Timotie - dob: 08/01/2005
Timmy did a beautiful job at the shows we were able to attend last season (including some kitten finals). He just completed his first show as an adult and secured his Champion title. Timmy really enjoys the entire show scene (okay, I do too!), so we will be indulging him as much as possible this year. We hope to see many friends - old and new - at the rest of the shows this year!
CFA Lone Star Cat Club (October 7-8, 2006)
- 2nd Best Long Hair Champion
CFA Oklahoma City Cat Club (November 25-26, 2006)
- 2nd Best Champion
- 2nd Best Long Hair Champion
- 3rd Best Long Hair Champion in two finals

Norsk Skogkatt History
Although in the United States the Norwegian Forest Cat is considered a "New Breed," it is indeed centuries old in its native homeland. Norse mythology speaks of a cat so huge that even the god Thor could not lift it from the ground. The goddess of Love and Fertility, Freya, had a carriage pulled by two large cats.

Breed Characteristics
In describing the Forest Cat, the foremost characteristic is disposition. They continually exhibit their love of people. If they have a fault, it is that they want to be with you and love you all the time.
